Anyone trying to break into VC or build a company will experience loss of direction and loneliness. This is especially the case for those from underrepresented communities. While grit is a hallmark of entrepreneurship, I donโ€™t think aspiring VCs and new founders should struggle to get started.

To encourage diverse investors and entrepreneurs, Iโ€™ve limited listings to programs with the lowest barriers to entry. This generally means part-time, remote-first, and (equity-)free programs with a public application (see FAQs). I have also marked programs explicitly focused on diversity.
