Anyone trying to break into VC or build a company will experience loss of direction and loneliness. This is especially the case for those from underrepresented communities. While grit is a hallmark of entrepreneurship, I don’t think aspiring VCs and new founders should struggle to get started.
To encourage diverse investors and entrepreneurs, I’ve limited listings to programs with the lowest barriers to entry. This generally means part-time, remote-first, and (equity-)free programs with a public application (see FAQs). I have also marked programs explicitly focused on diversity.
